2. Stipendium Hungaricum

The application procedure for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship is a general and central one, you need to meet the requirements for application found on the webpage:

Your application will be managed officially by the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program, and the University of Pannonia will be notified when you are accepted.

If you wish to attend the programs offered by the University of Pannonia, you are kindly asked to set our University and Institute of English and American Studies as your first choice. Thank you.

 

3. For 3rd country (non-Hungarian and non-EU) students applying as tuition paying students

Please check the model curricula of the programme(s) you are interested in at the webpages of the institutes offering the programmes. The curricula are in Hungarian and in English (the language of instruction is English.

Deadlines for application:

For BA programmes (beginning in September): the application procedure should be started not later than April 31st

For MA programmes (beginning in September as well as in February): not later than April 31st (for the September semester) and not later than October 31st (for the February semester).

Tuition fees: EUR 1500/semester for the BA programs; and EUR 2000/semester for the MA programs. The processing fee for the application (to be paid before the online interview) is EUR 150.

Eligibility criteria:

 For the BA program:

  • Secondary school certificate;
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL: 63 scores or higher) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS: Band 5 or above); or any other internationally accepted language exam in English (at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR));
  • BA or MA degree completed in English (in which case no language examination is necessary);
  • Motivation letter (personal/professional statement);
  • (Online) interview.

For the MA program:

  • Either a BA degree in the relevant field (see details at the pages of the chosen programmes);
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL: 63 scores or higher) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS: Band 5 or above); or any other internationally accepted language exam in English (minimally at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR));
  • Motivation letter (personal/professional statement);
  • (Online) interview.
